BAAN and GO SET GO travel half an hour down the road to Huntingdon tomorrow. They straddle the card.
BAAN runs in the first at 12.30 in a two mile 5 furlongs handicap. He has been in good form on the flat and can run well off his handicap mark so long as the physical weight is not too much. He is not a very big horse and in his previous 3 runs, he was ridden by Stevie Sanders who took 10 pounds off his back. Leighton Aspell now rides who is a top flight jockey. Trip and ground should suit.
GO SET GO runs in the last race, the National Hunt flat race. He has not run since the Spring but he has had no problems. He had a routine Summer break and has been working well at home. He appears to have improved from the Spring of the year and we are hopeful of a good run first time out. His bumper form from last season looks solid. He will like the ground. Matt Crawley, claiming 5, rides.
