Lucy is away on holiday for a week so the trainer is once again filling in.
The week begins at Windsor tomorrow evening with FARSIGHTED running for the first time since her fine victory at York. She is also running in a handicap for the first time. I cannot complain too much at the rating the handicapper has allotted her but I feel with 9 stone 7 pounds on her back she has a physically demanding task for a small filly. The ground looks like being very different to that which she on on at York and she is dropping back in trip to 6 furlongs. As you can see there are many unknowns about the race tomorrow. However she seems a very tough filly on a racecourse and is in good form at home. It will be very interesting to see how she runs. The race is one of only two “fillies only” nurseries in the near future and therefore worth going for. I am looking forward to watching her run.
We have many entries through the week and I will keep you updated as we go along.
