Glendun drops back in trip at Lingfield tomorrow

Monday, December 21, 2020
GLENDUN's last run at Kempton over 13 furlongs was a messy race and he would have finished alot closer if he had got a better run of the race. Shane Kelly rode him that day and said he was definitely better than his finishing position suggests and it may be worth dropping him back to 10 furlongs. Tomorrow's race looks ideal for him and we have no reason to believe he won't handle Lingfield. He is reasonably drawn in stall 6 of the 12 runners. Unfortunately Shane Kelly, who knows him so well, is unable to ride him as he is banned but Stevie Donohue is a very capable substitute. We have had a bit of a miserable run over the past few months so we really hope GLENDUN can see 2020 out on a high for us and we can look forward to a better 2021 like everyone else!
