Handicap chasing debut for Debacle tomorrow

Thursday, January 10, 2019
DEBACLE runs in a 3 mile handicap chase at Huntingdon tomorrow and there are 10 runners. This will be his first run in handicap company over fences and he has been given the same mark as his hurdles rating which must give him a chance. He had mostly jumped well on his chasing debut at Plumpton, a much classier race than tomorrows contest,  and was a bit unfortunate to come down 4 out when still travelling well. His confidence does not appear to have been knocked as he has schooled well at home since. We have always thought that chasing was going to be his forte so if he can jump round well he could be thereabouts tomorrow.
